Frequently Asked Questions
When is White Heaven open for guest?
The opening information will be updated in the News page. You could also send an email to ask for more information.
How do I come to the White Heaven by myself?
We suggest you should come by train.
The railway station for Kanchanaburi is not the main station but is at the Thonburi side of Bangkok (west-side of the Chao Phraya river).
You don't need to make a reservation. You can just buy a ticket at the station right before getting in the train. The trains leave Bangkok at Thon Buri Railway Station (also called Bangkok Noi Station) every day at 7.35 a.m. and 1.45 p.m.
for approximately 3 hour journey to Kanchanaburi.
From Kanchanaburi this line passes over the bridge on the River Kwai and later on stops after many other stations at Namtok Station
(Sai Yok Noi).
When you arrive in Sai Yok Noi (Nam Tok station), we will pick you up with our car (see our transport services). The White Heaven is about another 50 km.
The first train arrives at Nam Tok station at 12.50 and the second at 18.40. It is a long sit,
but you can relax and enjoy the Thai way of travelling and the view along the railways.
In the train there are plenty of foods and drinks coming along.
The last part is one of the most scenic railways of Thailand.
We recommend you to take the first train. As when we pick you up, it will be a perfect time and you can enjoy the trip more too.
Are there other alternatives to come to the White Heaven other than by train?
You can also travel by bus which is quicker. There are much more regular busses every day from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi.
From Kanchanaburi you can change to any bus in the direction of Thongphaphum or Sankhlaburi.
These busses pass an exit for our village "Phu Thong".
You can let the bus stop at the exit to Phu Thong. From there it is about 3 km to Rai Fah Khao.
The route of the busses: Kanchanaburi >> Sai Yok Noi >> Sai Yok Yai (National Park) >25km> Lin Thin >4km> Phu Thong exit etc.
Call us when you pass Sai Yok Yai and we will wait for you at the exit.
How do I come to the White Heaven by car?
You can come by taxi or rent a car with or without driver.
Leaving Bangkok from the west side which is Thonburi and heading to the direction of Nakhon Pathom.
When you approach Nakhon Pathom follow the sign to Kanchanaburi.
You can drive to and visit Kanchanaburi or take a ring road to avoid Kanchanaburi.
From Kanchanaburi follow the sign to Sai Yok and take the highway 323 in the direction of Thongphaphum or Sankhlaburi.
The highway 323 leads to Sai Yok Noi, Sai Yok Yai (National Park) and a village called Lin Thin.
After passing Lin Thin you will see an exit to our village (Ban Phu Thong) at km 174 of Road 323 (as shown in the picture).
Turn left at the exit to Ban Phu Thong and follow the road for 3 km to Rai Fah Khao/White Heaven.
The exit leads you to a bridge over the river Kwai.
After the bridge the road makes curve to the left and you will pass a T-junction.
Go straight (don't turn right) until you reach the White Heaven on your left hand side.
